Take a preventive approach to your health

Our approach

Medical focus on your health before you need it.

Our Approach to Your Health

Our approach to your health is to focus on you and your health now. The reason we say now is we want to evaluate “all of you in your current state of health”. This takes into account your fitness level, sleeping habits, stress levels, and what is going on inside your body. We proactively look at numerous labs to find your baseline and find areas to address for improvement. This helps us work together with you to optimize your overall health now. With this approach we are proactive to address possible disease markers that otherwise if undetected, could lead to chronic diseases. Once diagnosed with a disease, it seems we have started to play “catch up” or just treat the disease at that point. Currently, if this happens, our health system ends up treating the disease, reactive, not proactive. There is a reason patients often must book “sick visits” when going to their primary care or internist, because they are sick.

We aim to help you understand where your body is on a health spectrum. Once your laboratory results are in, we sit down and throughly go through the results, one on one with you. We answer questions and discuss how the results may be contributing to any signs or symptoms you may be having; or what they may lead to if not addressed.

Being proactive about your health, focusing on your healthspan, and hoping to increase your longevity are not accomplished with a single visit, one workout, or one healthy meal. It becomes a lifestyle and almost habit to improve yourself. We aim to work with individuals for the duration. We want to be there when something changes to help out as well as celebrate the milestone goals they may have set for themselves.

What Do We Do for You?

Laboratory testing

We utilize laboratory testing that includes blood work, urine and saliva analysis. This allows for us to look at normal blood markers, hormones, and cortisol levels.

wellness tracking

We encourage utilizing health tracking devices. This allows ongoing, unbiased data tracking of things such as exercise, quality and quantitative sleep measures, and with some, vital sign tracking. Longitudinal information can be very beneficial over the snapshot information vital signs the day of appointments provides.

Laboratory review

We review laboratory results one on one with each individual. We make sure to adequately go over results to provide you a full picture of your laboratory results.

health Testing

Imaging studies often give us insights on how the body is doing and may give guidance for further recommendations or a baseline picture to compare future tests after changes are made.

Lifestyle assessments

Individual’s lifestyles impact their health status. Some effects can be seen in laboratory work. Once lifestyle changes are made after initial assessments, changes may be seen in an individual’s lab results in the next testing phase.

Tandem teamwork

We are happy to work in tandem with your current healthcare team.

Medication therapy

Medication therapy may be recommended based on findings from an individual’s testing.
